Halloween Takes Center Stage at New Toy Fair Pavilion

kid-in-ghost-costumeJanuary 23, 2023 | Toy Fair 2023 attendees will experience no tricks and just treats at the brand-new Halloween Pavilion at the show, taking place September 30 to October 3 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. The dedicated pavilion will spotlight products and experiences unique to the holiday to help attendees plan for the 2024 Halloween season.

“A significant part of the reimagined Toy Fair is that the show reflects the evolving industry and our attendees’ buying needs,” said Kimberly Carcone, executive vice president of global market events at The Toy Association. “Introducing the Halloween Pavilion creates a meaningful, highly curated space for our attendees to do business and further expands opportunities for our exhibitors to make new connections.”

The Toy Association has partnered with seasonal wholesaler The FeBland Group Inc. to create this new area on the exhibit floor, which will highlight companies representing items specific to Halloween, including costumes, accessories, décor, props, novelties, special effects equipment, and more.

“The Halloween Pavilion will be a very helpful area for buyers and vendors to meet and discuss Halloween 2024 before the year ends. And, some independent accounts may still wish to order items needed for 2023,” said Nigel FeBland, president at The FeBland Group. “We believe this new area at Toy Fair will add an exciting new dimension to the show and will attract seasonal buyers that may not have attended the event in the past.”

"We are thrilled that for the first time there is a Halloween Pavilion at Toy Fair,” said Adriana Espinosa, sales manager at Ghoulish Productions, one of the exhibiting companies at the pavilion. “That's what we always have wanted: a very joyful spot in the most joyful show!"

In addition to the World of Toys Pavilion, the Halloween Pavilion is just one of the many new areas to the reimagined Toy Fair that will give attendees direct access to a broader range of products and provide even more opportunity to expand their networks. Additional showcases and pavilions on the Toy Fair show floor, including one dedicated to pets, will be announced as they become finalized.

Toy Fair will take place September 30 to October 3 in New York City. Attendee registration will open spring 2023. Visit ToyFairNY.com to learn more.
