Level Up Your Media Planning for Toy Fair® with New Webinar

May 24, 2023 | Toy Fair® exhibitors are invited to attend an upcoming Exhibitor Academy webinar that will provide a roadmap to the best PR and marketing strategies needed to maximize reach and exposure opportunities for their brands during the reimagined show. Registration is now open.

Taking place Thursday, June 29 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), “Toy Fair PR Bootcamp: Media Planning Tips for Your Brand at the Show” will share tips on how exhibitors can set up their booths for maximum visibility and engagement; target the right media through press materials and outreach; engage with online content creators; offer select VIP press “sneak peeks” of 2024 lines; and take advantage of other promotional opportunities around the show’s unique Q4 timing.

Presenters include PR Newswire’s Erienne Muldoon, senior customer content specialist, and The Toy Association’s Kristin Morency Goldman, senior advisor of strategic communications; Laura Mangiaracina, director of sales; and Jacqueline Retzer, director of event management.

“Toy Fair remains the iconic North American tradeshow, but the fall timing for this year opens up new possibilities for companies to gain exposure in Q4,” said Kristin Morency Goldman, senior advisor of strategic communications at The Toy Association. “In this webinar, we will walk through everything exhibitors need to know about engaging with media and making a splash for their brands ahead of the holidays and into next year. After a three-plus year absence, we expect a broad array of top-tier outlets – from national TV crews, morning shows, and business and consumer press, to radio hosts, content creators and podcasters – to attend from around the globe.”

The session is open to all Toy Fair 2023 exhibitors; it is specifically recommended for individuals involved in public relations, marketing, advertising, and social media promotion.

Exhibitors can also access previously recorded webinars for more insights on show preparations, including a Toy Fair 101: Freshman Class Webinar for first-timers.

“No matter how many shows you’ve attended in the past or how many toys you plan to showcase, companies need to have a plan in place to differentiate themselves at Toy Fair,” said Morency Goldman. “These informative webinars provide valuable tips to help you ensure a productive and successful show.”
