The Toy Association's “Toy Trends Briefing,” taking place on opening day of Toy Fair®, promises to be a must-see unveiling of the hottest toy trends and consumer shopping insights that will shape the year ahead. The briefing is meant to provide media, buyers, and other Toy Fair guests with new data and insights into evolving consumer preferences and play patterns that will influence purchasing decisions throughout the year.
Taking place from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, the Association’s team of trend experts will offer Toy Fair attendees a first look at its top product trends of 2026 and discuss the latest developments in play with examples straight from the show floor. The presentation will be supported by statistics from a recent survey of U.S. parents commissioned by The Toy Association.
“The Toy Association's team of trend experts meets with hundreds of global toy companies in the months leading up to Toy Fair to track the latest developments in toys, play, and youth entertainment, while keeping a close eye on what’s happening in adjacent industries and broader cultural trends,” said Kristin Morency Goldman, senior director of strategic communications at The Toy Association. “The annual Toy Trends Briefing represents the culmination of this work, helping to shape buying decisions and media stories about toys, play, and youth entertainment in the year ahead.”
Free and open to all Toy Fair attendees, the briefing will take place at The General Session Theatre in Hall 1D of the Javits Center. More information about the presentation and the full range of Toy Fair University educational programming is available here.
