Toy professionals are encouraged to take advantage of the ongoing rollout of Toy Fair® University educational sessions this spring.

The sessions, recorded at Toy Fair 2026, are being released online through May on ToyFairNY.com, LinkedIn, and via email. The virtual learning sessions offer a convenient and flexible way to explore topics shaping the toy industry.

The full lineup includes more than 30 sessions led by nearly 90 industry experts. Toy Fair University covers a diverse range of subjects, from the latest consumer trends to licensing, brand protection, design, and more.

Some of the top-viewed presentations available now include:

  • The Kidult Collector: Defining and Capturing the Growing Audience
The kidult market continues to expand, but what’s fueling that growth? This session explores the motivations, interests, and market forces driving adult toy purchasing — and what those trends mean for the industry.

  • How Entertainment Brands are Leveraging the Nostalgia Boom to Engage Multigenerational Audiences
As brand loyalty becomes harder to earn, nostalgia delivers both emotional connection and measurable performance. This panel explores how entertainment brands are aligning legacy IP with evolving media, merchandising, and family viewing habits to engage multigenerational audiences and drive growth.

  • Gen Alpha Reality Check
The truth is, no one fully knows what Gen Alpha wants — yet. And that's the opportunity. This panel explores how brands can move beyond early assumptions and actively understand the behaviors and preferences of a generation still forming.

  • New Licensees and What to Expect
For toy companies entering their first licensing agreement, opportunity often comes with complexity. This session examines material terms, negotiation strategy, what licensors prioritize, and what to expect after signing a contract to avoid common early-stage missteps.

This summer, The Toy Association will open the application period for toy industry thought leaders to present at Toy Fair University at the next Toy Fair, taking place February 20 to 23, 2027, at the Javits Center in New York City.
