April 13, 2026 | The Toy Association’s trends team has been spotlighting must-have spring- and Easter-themed toys from members, bringing timely gift inspiration to families across major media markets in March and early April. The segments reached a cumulative audience of more than 7 million.

The Toy Association joined WGN-TV's Spotlight Chicago, KTLA 5 Morning News, and News 12 New York to share top toy picks and advice on saving money for kids’ Easter baskets. Featured products represented a wide range of companies, including Magna-Tiles, VTech, Elenco, hand2mind, Learning Resources, Cottage Door Press, Radio Flyer, Toy Monster, Sky Castle Toys, Basic Fun!, Jazwares, Moose Games, and Spin Master.

In addition, a recent Forbes Vetted article, “26 Retro Toys You Can Buy Today—And Kids Still Love,” was inspired by The Toy Association’s 2026 trend report, which was released at Toy Fair in February and named “Throwback Toys” as one of the top trends of the year. The article includes items from Tree Town Toys, The Loyal Subjects, Mattel, Hasbro, Basic Fun!, PlayMonster, and more.
