preview-holiday-market-exhibitorsMay 10, 2022 | The Toy Association’s 2023 Preview & 2022 Holiday Market this fall will commence what is anticipated to be a critical stop for buyers and sellers for both 2022 and 2023 business.

Taking place September 20 to 22, 2022 at the Dallas Market Center, the trade show will not only be a go-to stop for mass, long-lead, and specialty retailers to preview product for the 2023 holiday season but also a place to showcase 2022 holiday drivers to retailers looking to round out their shelves this year.

Buyers from leading North American retailers have confirmed their attendance. Walmart has verbally committed while Barnes & Noble, BJ's Wholesale, Dollar Tree, Indigo, It’Sugar, Learning Express, Target, Urban Outfitters, and others are expected to participate as part of The Toy Association’s hosted buyer program.

“The continued confirmation of more and more top-tier buyers and sellers emphasizes how our commitment to producing events that meet the needs of our members and evolve alongside the ever-changing toy and retail environment is paying off,” said Kimberly Carcone, senior vice president of global market events at The Toy Association. “Whether seeking innovative updates to classics, STEAM toys or sustainable products, buyers will be able to scout the full gamut of what’s hot in toys and play now and into next year’s holiday season.”

Exhibiting companies will have the option to display their toys in closed, open, or hybrid booths to accommodate both private appointments as well as walk-in business. In addition to mass, long-lead, and specialty retailers, the event will also cater to distributors, importers, sales reps, and other trade guests.

“We have been in the industry for almost 40 years,” said Mark Dingers, owner of California Creations. “Trade shows have always been a big part of our long-term success by giving us the opportunity to see many of our most important customers in our booth where we can show our product lines with displays. It’s been difficult for us to make good presentations for the last few years and we are very happy to see these events start up again with The Preview & Holiday Market this fall.”

In addition to the business opportunities, the Preview & Holiday Market will be the meeting grounds to celebrate and support the business of play. Events include an opening night party, the Women in Toys Empowerment Day; and The Toy Foundation’s Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards.
