Registration Open for Canadian Toy Association’s Hall of Fame Event

canadian toy association 2024 hall of fame logoOctober 17, 2024 | The toy community is invited to attend the Canadian Toy Association’s (CTA) Hall of Fame Reception and Dinner, taking place November 14 at the Mississauga Convention Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The event will bring together North American toy professionals for an evening of networking and celebrating industry leaders for their outstanding contributions to the toy industry throughout their careers. Registration is open.

Following the reception and dinner, the CTA will formally induct Steve Morris, former general manager of Jakks Pacific, and Melanie Teed-Murch, former president of Toys “R” Us Canada and Babies “R” Us Canada, into the CTA Hall of Fame. The organization will also present Myuran Sivapalan of Zuru Canada with 2024 Rising Star Award.

The Hall of Fame inductees were nominated and voted on by members of the CTA in honor and recognition of their remarkable impact on the industry. They will join a roster of more than 50 industry leaders who have been inducted into the Hall since it was established in 1995.
